私たちの最初に行ったコーヒービジネス形態は楽しかったものの、長続きしませんでした。

まず私たちからお客様にお電話し、どんなコーヒーがお好みでどれくらいの頻度で飲むのかなどを会話の中で聞き、もしよければ注文をいただいてクレジットカードで支払いをして一週間に一回お客様のお家に直接コーヒーを配達する、というサービスでした。

このビジネス形態にはいろいろな問題があり、そのうえ当時ジェームスの自家用車だったプジョー５０５のワゴン車に積み込めるコーヒーの量には限りがありました。でも、規模は違いますが現在私たちがやっていることとそれほど変わりません。

私たちは、世界中の農家と直接契約を結び、最も美味しくサステイナブルなコーヒーを調達しています。そしてそのコーヒーを私たちのターゲットフレーバーに焙煎し、最も美味しいピーク期間に提供し、スタッフとのフレンドリーな会話やアドバイスと共に楽しんでいただきたいと思っています。尊敬する農家の方達が育てた、本当に美味しい愛情のこもったコーヒーを皆さんのお手元や玄関にお届けできることは光栄なことです。
