ＣＤ１にはオリジナルのステレオ＆モノ音源に加え制作過程をとらえたレコーディング・セッション音源を収録。さらにアナログ時代の編集エディット・バージョンも収録。ＣＤ２にはプロモーション・ビデオ制作を兼ねた英国ＴＶ「デヴィッド・フロスト・ショー」でのスタジオ・ライブ・セッションをすべて収録。さらに米国ＴＶ「スマサーズ・ブラザース・ショウ」や後の編集バージョンまでテイク違いミックス違いをまとめて聞き比べることができます。ＤＶＤにはプロモーション・ビデオそして英国ＴＶショウ「デヴィッド・フロスト・ショー」でのバージョン違いを米国ＴＶ「スマサーズ・ブラザース・ショウ」含め現存する元映像をすべてベスト・クオリティの映像素材で収録。お馴染みの「ヘイ・ジュード」の映像もイントロの違いや演奏の違いが音だけでなく映像でより一層それぞれのバージョンの違いを検証できます。今回初登場となる発掘映像のオリジナルＴＶ完全版はビートルズ以外クラシックや実験音楽等も含むオムニバスでアップル・レーベルのブラック・ダイク・ミルズ・バンドも出演しておりこれまで知られたビートルズのセッション映像もこれが本元となる当時ならでは貴重なＴＶ映像です。１９６８年シングルとして発売されてから５０周年となるビートルズの歴史的名曲を音と映像で徹底追及したコレクターズ・エディション決定版の登場です。
