コンテンポラリー・ジャズ・ギター界でダントツの人気を誇るパット・メセニーと、新たなジャズ・ピアノ・アプローチで若手No.1とも言われていたブラッド・メルドーの両者は2005年にレコーディングを行い、共同制作を開始。アルバムではメセニー／メルドーのデュオ楽曲に加えブラッド・メルドー・トリオのリズム隊であるベースのラリー・グレナディアとドラムのジェフ・バラードを迎えたカルテット編成も収録し、2006年にアルバム『Metheny Mehldau』を、翌2007年に『Metheny Mehldau Quartet』をリリース。後者のアルバム・リリースに伴いグレナディアとバラードを迎え、2007年6月からヨーロッパ・ツアーを行う。その中で同年2007年にスペインで開催されたジャズ・フェスティヴァル出演時の貴重なアーカイヴが登場！ 本作は2007年7月28日にスペインのサン・セバスティアンで行われたジャズ・フェスティヴァル出演時のパフォーマンスを収録したアーカイヴとなっており、コンサートの模様を完全収録。『Metheny Mehldau』、『Metheny Mehldau Quartet』の収録曲を中心に、パット・メセニー／デイヴ・ホランド／ロイ・ヘインズのトリオで発表した『Question And Answer』収録曲やパット・メセニー・グループの大ヒット作『Letter From Home』収録楽曲を新たなアプローチで披露したファン必聴の超貴重アーカイヴとなっている。
